When To Expect The SSC Admit Card For Various SSC Exams?

The Staff Selection Commission releases the SSC admit card for different SSC exams by releasing a notification on the SSC official website. The examinations for which the commission releases the SSC admit cards are:

SSC CHSL  – Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam

SSC CGL – Combined Graduate Level Exam

SSC MTS – Multi Tasking Staff Exam

SSC CPO – Central police Organisation Exam

SSC GD – General Duty Constable Exam

SSC JE – Junior Engineer Exam, and 

SSC Stenographer Exam.

The recruitment process for the above-mentioned examination for this year has already started. SSC releases the SSC admit card at least 15 days before the examination for candidates convenience.  The release of SSC Admit card for various SSC exams are deferred due to the emerging situation of countrywide lockdown to contain the coronavirus outbreak. 

Now, when can you expect the release of the SSC admit card to conduct the examinations?

Officially, there is no announcement regarding the new exam dates or release of the admit cards to conduct SSC exams. But, now, as the restrictions on Lockdown 4.0 is slightly loosened, candidates can expect the release of SSC admit cards soon. Therefore, it is advised to keep a check on the official website for regular updates. 

Candidates upon the release of SSC Admit card have to follow the given below steps to download the SSC Admit Card:

  1. Go to the official website (https://ssc.nic.in)
  2. Click on the admit card option on the homepage
  3. Select your region (e.g. Eastern, Northern region, etc.)
  4. Click on the SSC admit card download link for the different SSC exams displayed on the screen.
  5. Enter the registration number and date of birth to login
  6. The SSC Admit card appears in a separate window,
  7. Save and download the admit card.

Prep Tips For SSC Exams

The common sections in most of the SSC exams are SSC General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Reasoning and Intelligence. For an effective preparation here are some points to quickly go through: 

  1. English Language: Designed to test the candidate’s ability in English. Practice more Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Para Jumbles, Fill in the Blanks, etc. Learn new words daily and use them in regular conversations in order to remember them. Go through English Newspapers and News channels. This will also be helpful for SSC General awareness preparation.
  2. General Awareness: The SSC general awareness questions are designed to test the candidate’s knowledge of the environment around him and its application to society. Keep up to date with current affairs, go through magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan, Yojana etc. 
  3. General Intelligence & Reasoning: This tests candidates factual and theoretical knowledge. With daily practice of reasoning, candidates can master this section. Also, regular practice of mock tests and previous year question papers can help a lot to prepare this section.
  4. Quantitative Aptitude: The questions in this section are structured to test candidates numerical sense and use of numbers.
